Pragticality is the parent of a small, deliberate portfolio of ventures. It holds, sets the standard, and stays out of the way of the work.

What Pragticality is

Pragticality Ltd is a UK private limited company, registered in England and Wales (No. 17207406). It is privately owned and independently capitalised. The company holds and runs a portfolio of ventures — currently Indulgence4all, Gnomon (live for demo and design-partner work), and idea-stage work that hasn't yet earned its place.

For now, Pragticality Ltd is the trading entity for all ventures it covers. As individual ventures grow enough to warrant their own accounts, banking, and (where relevant) regulatory permissions, separate limited companies will be incorporated as wholly-owned subsidiaries. The structure is deliberate and intentionally cost-controlled — one Ltd's overhead is significantly less than several.

What Pragticality believes

The name is doing real work — pragmatic and practical, in that order. The first concedes that the world's complexity is real and irreducible. The second commits to making things that work for the people who actually use them. The combination is the whole brand.

What Pragticality does not do

It is as important to name what is being deliberately walked away from. Pragticality is not building anything that requires venture capital and the growth pressure that comes with it. Not anything that needs millions of users to make sense. Not anything that depends on advertising or attention-harvesting for revenue. Not bandwagon plays. Not anything where success would damage the customer.

This is not a list of preferences. It is the design.

How the portfolio grows

Slowly and deliberately. A new venture is added only when (a) the existing portfolio is stable enough to absorb the additional bandwidth, (b) the new idea genuinely fits the principles above, and (c) there is real energy to do the work properly, not just dutifully. There is no roadmap. There is curatorship.

Each venture carries its own brand, its own customer relationship, its own commercial logic, and — when it grows enough — its own operating company. Pragticality is the parent, not the product. The substance is in what each venture is for the people who use it.

The mission, restated for clarity: build a portfolio of useful, sustainable ventures that help real people, pay for themselves and the team, and produce work to be proud of.
